Snakes are threatened by many of the same issues that affect all wildlife, including habitat loss, climate change, and disease. But negative attitudes toward snakes may be the biggest barrier to their conservation because it often impedes efforts to address other threats

Earn-A-Bike

Program Description

This programs is a cash-free path to bike ownership. The participant trades donated labor towards credit for a bicycle. Skills are learned in the tool use of maintenance and repair of bicycles.

Beneficiaries

Adults
Children ages 5 to 21
Female Children and Youth (infants - 19 years)
Male Children (5 - 14 years)
Male Youth/Adolescents (14 - 19 years)

Define Long Term Success:

More bikes out the door & more riders on the streets. Also, retention of program graduates in our shop helping others.

Define Short Term Success:

Kids helping other kids in the shop

How Do you Monitor Progress?

We track numbers of community members who are enrolled and have successfully completed the program.
